During the second week of September, the Organizing Committee of the 24th Summer Deaflympics welcomed, in the city of Caxias do Sul, the European Regional President of the ISCD, Iosif Stavrakrakis and the Asian Regional President of the ICSD, Mohammad Pargar, along with the Acting President of the ICSD, Gustavo Perazzolo, and the CEO of the Organizing Committee, Richard Douglas Ewald. The entourage visited all locations that will, in May of 2022, provide the event venues. Along with the visit, they also met with the city’s authorities, who showed support and great expectations for the game’s success.
