First meeting with SLOs is held at the Organizing Committee of the 24th Deaflympics

Another important step was taken in the organization of the 24th Deaflympics in Caxias do Sul. This Tuesday afternoon (October 26), the 1st meeting was held with SLOs (Sports Liaison Officers), who are the local specialist professionals of each sport that they will talk to the respective international authority of each sport.

Organizing Committee CEO Richard Douglas Ewald explained to all SLOs designated by the Municipal Department of Sport and Recreation (SMEL) how the organizing efforts had advanced in recent months and explained the importance of each in their respective sport.

The Municipal Secretary of Sports and Leisure Gabriel Citton was present and agreed that it is essential that each official do his part so that the 24th Olympics has an undeniable level of quality and thus leave its legacy to the community.
